Westlam was founded in 1984 in San Diego, CA as a provider of
laminating services for the commercial printing industry. It's
product initially included only film laminating but soon expanded
into offering a new product called UV Coating.
As Westlam continued to expand it's customer base to include
the Los Angeles and Orange County markets, the facility was
relocated to Santa Ana, CA in 1991.
Both UV Coating and Laminating continue to grow in popularity
and are used in an increasing number of printing applications
including menus, book covers, point-of-purchase materials, posters
and numerous packaging applications.
To keep up with growth, Westlam has invested heavily in state-of-the-art
equipment, which enables the company to produce the highest
quality products available at very competitive prices. Westlam
now operates two shifts per day serving many of the major printers
in the Western United States. |
